Blogger to Word Press

I'm making the big switch from blogger to word press this week.  This could be translated to changing from tivo to direct TV.  Or an i-Mac to PC.  In other words... Old Dog - New Trick.  I'm working with a great web developer who is giving my whole site a major face lift and it should be ready any hour now.

Sure.  I love change when it means rearranging furniture.  Or painting my entry bench.  But when it comes to big ticket items I get all....shall we say....wIgGeD oUt!

So please bare with me today as my mind goes to our perfectly wonderful day we had last weekend...

Signs of spring are popping up all over our yard.

The kids found some "rich soil" in the backyard where they buried an old apple and a pinecone.  Something magic just might grow... *wink*

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
(Thanks Uncle Andy, we are half way through watching the first season)

Perhaps a family will move in?  This housing development has been on the market now for three years with out so much as one offer.  Not sure what the home owners association can do to encourage young families to relocate here but if you have any recommendations please share.

You may not believe those photos are from two days ago by the looks of it currently, but thats because I live in Reno where they say "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."

In case you're still in suspense regarding the transplant of my schefflera (and I'm sure you've been on the edge of your seat) three out of the four water propagated stems have made made the transfer!

My gardenia, still full of buds, has finally opened one bloom.  If I could share the magnificent scent with you via blogger I would.

Maybe Word Press will have that as an option.

And what about the big paint project in my family room and kitchen?  It was completed yesterday!  Let me get my curtains and paintings hung back up and I'll be sure to share!
